Who We Are

Possibly the most famous verse in the Bible is John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." This is God's declaration of His electing love for you. He elects to remit your sin when you believe in His Son Jesus Christ. The next verse is very important for us as well. 

John 3:17, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him." Here Jesus declares the intention of the Father in the sending of the Son. The purpose of His coming is to bring salvation and restoration. Jesus came to restore God's true order to our lives. A relationship with God forever and in this present life, a transformation. We are transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are conformed into this likeness by our "looking into the Word of God and being changed by what we see there. So, Solid Rock is a place to become what God wants you to be without condemnation or judgment. We believe the Bible contains all we need for faith and practice in the Christian life.
